Made slowly, with care
Pebble is made by Matem Media. Here's who we are, how we use AI, and what we will never do.

A gentle show, made slowly
Pebble the Pangolin is made by Matem Media. We make her slow on purpose: soft sounds, gentle pacing, and nothing that shouts for attention.
We write every script ourselves, and every fact is checked before it goes on screen.
AI-assisted, and we say so
Pebble's pictures, animation, voices and music are made with AI tools. People write the stories, choose every shot and check every fact. Every video is labelled, on screen or in its description:
"Pebble is a cartoon character, made with animation and AI tools."
What we never do
- No data from childrenThe app collects no data. This website has no sign-ups, no forms and no analytics.
- No cookies, no trackingThat's why there's no cookie banner here. Videos open on YouTube; YouTube's own privacy policy applies there.
- No ads, no pressureNothing is sold to children, and nothing nudges you to buy.
- Comments off on YouTubeComments are off on our YouTube channel. Grown-ups can talk to us on Instagram or by email.
- Never asking children for photos or detailsNot on Instagram, not anywhere.
Is Pebble real?
Pebble is a cartoon pangolin, made with animation and AI tools. Real pangolins do roll into a ball when they feel scared, and that's where her pause comes from.
What ages is Pebble for?
Ages 3–7. Videos are short and slow, with simple words and British spelling.
Is the breathing a therapy?
No. The breathing and stretches are fun routines to try together, not a treatment for anything.
Where can we watch?
Free on YouTube at @PebblethePangolin, and soon in the Pebble app for iPad and iPhone.
